Reference Standards

Reference Standards

Analytical Laboratories routinely use Reference Materials (or Standards) for internal Quality Control. They are used to monitor the accuracy and precision of analytical results generated.

Reference Materials are also used by Exploration and Mining companies to check whether testing laboratories are reporting results to an acceptable degree of accuracy and precision.

For some time, Orelysis has supported various testing laboratories, mineral exploration and mining companies with a wide variety of high quality, homogeneous reference standards for quality control and assurance.

Our high quality reference materials with a nominal particle size of 40-micron enables your work to be as accurate as possible, helping you to generate better, precise and reliable results. The Reference Materials come with a comprehensive Certificate of Analysis (CoA), ensuring their suitability for both qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The CoAs provide a complete description of the material they relate to, alongside a summary of the analyses undertaken during the characterisation process - covering assay, purity, stability, uncertainty, homogeneity and more.

Orelysis has an extensive range of reference materials to choose from. These come from a wide variety of sources and represent a good cross-section of sample matrices. We have prepared and supplied these reference materials to various laboratories, exploration projects and mines globally.
